Welcome to Hillcrest Middle School! I am delighted with the opportunity to help your child achieve his or her maximum potential this year.
In Social Studies the history of the past is linked with the world today. The curriculum encompasses the founding principles of our country, civics/government to modern history topics such as WW II and the Holocaust, the Cold War, 60s, Vietnam, Civil Rights through terrorism in the world today.
All lessons are aligned to DVUSD curriculum and based on AZ Social Studies Standards found at www.ade.state.az.us.
